I formed Investor Communications Services in 1997 to help public companies use plain English principles in the disclosure documents they file with the Securities and Exchange Commission and distribute to the public.
I believe 10-Ks, annual reports, proxy statements, and other investor communications should be written with care and a focus on clarity not treated as a nuisance. Market participants want to understand these materials, and the SEC insists they should be able to. Combining my experience as a corporate and securities attorney and my experience as a writer and editor, I craft disclosure documents that investors, analysts, regulators, and even lawyers, will appreciate.
Investor Communications Services will:
- Create SEC filings and other documents that your investors can read and understand.
- Free up your accounting, finance, and human resources staff to do other work after they compile the information that disclosure documents require.
- Help you to confine legal bills to true legal work.
- Produce documents that your attorneys, analysts, and regulators can review efficiently.
Although Investor Communications Services has a unique focus on public companies and securities disclosure, almost every organization can benefit from the work of an experienced editor. Perhaps you need someone to manage your newsletter, tweak an article to be submitted to a legal or business publication, or write a brochure to explain your product or service. Chances are, I can help you meet your objectives. Please consider my Other Writing and Editing Services.
